Construction has begun on the South Budapest youth development center located in the south side of Kispest. The project will cost approximately 4.2 billion forints. The 16.5-hectare complex will house eight natural and artificial grass covered fields.
The project received the priority investment designation from the national economic council. The tender was issued by the Department of National Sport Centers and the winning bidders were Pharos 95 Kft and Wire-Vill Kft. Pharos 95 Kft has a great deal of experience with building stadiums; they participated in the construction of MTK’s, Haladás’ and ZTE’s stadiums. Wire-Vill Kft’s experience lies in the energy sector. The facility should be ready by the spring of 2018.
