Feczkó became widely known seven years ago as coach of Balmazújváros after guiding the Hajdú-Bihar side to the top flight, and later also won promotion to the first division with MTK. He subsequently worked as coach of Diósgyőr, Nyíregyháza and Kisvárda, leading the latter all the way to the Hungarian Cup semi-finals.
“It is a huge honour to be the coach of a club with such great traditions, but at the same time that comes with enormous responsibility. Honvéd's glorious past is a responsibility you carry. There is no doubt that the supporters are top-flight quality. I first experienced that as MTK coach in a friendly, when the away section was completely full of Honvéd supporters and they encouraged the team almost without stopping throughout the match. From 3 January, the staff, the players and I will work so that the team can produce a more successful spring and we can celebrate together after our victories” – he told our official website.
