The squad has strengthened: Attila Sánta, technical director of Kispest-HFC II, has joined Honvéd BKE as a new player.
The team started with their usual intensity. Kispest launched wave after wave of attacks, which paid off in the 9th minute when Gábor Kovács found the back of the visitors' net to make it 1–0. After that, spectators were treated to a goal-scoring duel between Kamber and Youla. Youla scored in the 19th minute, followed four minutes later by Kamber. Another four minutes on, Youla struck again, and Kamber responded just before the break, sending the sides into half-time with a 5–0 lead.
Hardly had the second half begun when we scored again through Andric, and four minutes later Csaba Tóth also found the target. At that point, it looked as though Honvéd would reach double digits, but despite creating chance after chance, the opportunities were missed. Finally, Youla sealed the 8–0 final score in the 69th minute.
Among our rivals, both Ferencváros and Pénzügyőr also claimed victories, with the latter leading the table on 13 points. Honvéd BKE and Ferencváros follow on 9 points each, though our side has played one game fewer.
