Our supporter vote has concluded, in which you could decide under what name our senior teams should compete from the 2026–27 season. There were two options to choose from: Budapest Honvéd FC and Kispest–Honvéd FC. More than 9,000 votes were cast and the result was clear: Kispest–Honvéd FC received the support of more than 90 percent of the votes.
This result sends us a clear message. The club’s identity, traditions and Kispest roots continue to represent defining values for our supporters. The decision shows that our past and the heritage connected to the Honvéd name remain a strong bond between the club and its community. Accordingly, from the 2026–27 season our senior teams will compete in their leagues under the name Kispest–Honvéd FC. Thank you to everyone who took part in the vote, shared their opinion and contributed to shaping the future of our club together.
