István Fehér was also closely connected to sporting life in Kispest. Through his work and dedication, he made a significant contribution to the history of Honvéd. He became a member of KHFC on February 2, 1999, and from November 30, 1999 served as a board member. In February 2000 the entire KHFC board resigned. That same month, István Fehér joined the leadership of Kispest-Honvéd FC as vice-president. Following the resignation of the full board, he temporarily managed the club together with Tamás Szabó and József Andrusch. During his period as vice-president, István Fehér did a great deal for the Kispest club and for its successful operation.
May he rest in peace. We will preserve his memory forever.
István Fehér will be laid to rest at Kispest New Cemetery at 12:00 on September 14, 2026.
