The youth championships were already in full swing at the weekend. All of our teams took to the field, and the U17 side even played two league matches within a week. The record was three wins, two draws and one defeat.
Our U19 team earned the team-of-the-week title after beating Ferencváros away from home. Takács László's players settled the destination of the three points in the first half with a brace from Kovács Bence.

Head coach: Takács László
Takács László: – We started the match well, as we were 2–0 ahead after 20 minutes. After that the game was balanced, with opportunities at both ends; both our opponents and we had serious chances. In the second half we deliberately ceded a little of the initiative and took fewer risks. We had opportunities on the counter, but the score did not change. We played in a very disciplined and united way throughout, and overall I feel we confidently took the three points.
The U17s played twice within three days. First, on 4 September at Sóstói Stadium, they beat Fehérvár FC 2–1 thanks to a Gyebróczki brace, then drew 2–2 at home against MTK.

Head coach: Körtvélyesi István
Körtvélyesi István: — Despite conceding an early goal, we were on top in the first half, but in the attacking zone we were hesitant and inaccurate. We also dominated in the second half, but our chances remained only opportunities. Our defending was much better organised, our play was more creative and we played consciously. Several players are still getting used to this tempo, but there is no problem because we have already made a lot of progress compared with last week's performance. We need to improve in individual play and in asserting ourselves, but that will come naturally with time.
Our U14 side recorded what can be considered an excellent win over Vasas Kubala Akadémia, as the Angyalföld team had won four of the previous five matches.

Head coach: Szamosi Tamás
Szamosi Tamás: — For most of the match, the team tried to carry out what we had discussed beforehand. We played in a disciplined and stable manner throughout against a Vasas side that played very well. The match remained open from start to finish, with both teams playing to win. Both sides had opportunities; Vasas mainly tried their luck from distance. Our set pieces were dangerous, and the winning goal also came from a situation following a free kick. With disciplined play, we deservedly earned the victory away to Vasas.
