Our U19 team advances in the Cup with a goal-fest

As reported earlier, our U16 and U17 sides successfully navigated the 3rd round of the Hungarian Cup on Tuesday, and on Wednesday Márton Bogdánfi's team also kicked off their campaign in the tournament. Our team started the match brilliantly, establishing a three-goal lead in the first half, leaving no doubt about advancing in the second period. Lav Kis scored not only his first hat-trick but also his first goals in Honvéd colours, while Ákos Molnár, Zalán Varga, and Loránd Domján each contributed with a goal to the victory.

We started with the right mentality, were able to control the game, and tried to create chances against a home side that defended with organization and enthusiasm. Initially, we posed more danger from set pieces, but as our opponents tired, we were able to create more clear-cut opportunities and score goals.”
