U19
Our U19 team faced a capital derby on Saturday, playing away at MTK. Márton Bogdánfi's side started the match brilliantly: Milán Balaskó found the net twice against the Blue and Whites inside just six minutes, and Patrik Érsek was also on the scoresheet. Although the hosts pulled two goals back, our U19s held on for a 3–2 victory and continue to lead the table.

U17
Our U17 team played out a 2–2 draw against Gödöllői SK in Round 6 of the Elite League. We took the lead in the 35th minute through Péter Szijjártó, but were reduced to ten men in the second half, allowing the hosts to turn the scoreline around. Viktor Petrók, head coach:
“We didn't play particularly well and suffered many turnovers, which made our opponents dangerous. Following a questionable penalty and a sending-off, we lost our composure more than we should have. However, after falling behind, we mobilized tremendous energy to get the equalizer, so congratulations to the team!”
U16
Round 7 of the Elite League brought a fiercely contested match for our U16s: Tamás Szamosi's side took the pitch away against Ferencváros, and although our boys created several scoring opportunities, the Green and Whites ultimately clinched the contest.
Elite League, Round 7
Ferencvárosi TC–Kispest–Honvéd FC 1–0 (0–0)
Lineup: Petró – Török, Palásti, Szijjártó, Józsa, Nyiri (Schill 63.), Menyhárt (Mosolits 70.), Varga B., Szabó D. (Magyar 65.), Malomsoki, Gerebenes (Sólyom – half-time)
Tamás Szamosi, head coach:
“We played a tight, high-quality match against Ferencváros where both sides went for the win! It was an open, high-intensity encounter. In the first half, we had several scoring opportunities, but unfortunately we could not convert them. The teams picked up right where they left off in the second half. Both sides had chances to decide the clash, but Ferencváros took theirs this time. They scored from a loose ball inside the penalty box, which sealed the fate of the match!”
U15
Our U15 squad was in action at Kisvárda, where following a goalless first half, the hosts scored twice in the second period, leaving our team empty-handed. Not long before, our youngsters took part in a prestigious international tournament in Serbia, returning home with bronze medals. With the midweek fixture, there was less time for recovery, which according to our head coach caused a lack of freshness and concentration in certain spells.
Elite League, Round 7
Várda Labdarúgó Akadémia – Kispest–Honvéd FC 2–0 (0–0)
Lineup: Monyók – Karácsony (Babalola 67.), Rodek (Mocsel 67.), Oláh-Sebők, Kovács N. (Babos 41.), Csiba, Németh (Ottó 57.), Rácz, Hanzély (Tóth Cs. 41.), Gerencsér, Kamber (Nnadi 57.)
Djordje Kamber, head coach:
“Although our opponents seemed more aggressive and fresher at the start, based on the run of play we deserved at least a point. Following the tournament in Novi Sad, we couldn't recover adequately; at certain stages, we lacked aggression, sharpness, and concentration. We couldn't take our chances in either half. We conceded an avoidable penalty to hand them the lead, after which we kept them under sustained pressure until the final whistle, but we were not sharp or focused enough to score. The boys gave everything, and I have no complaints about their effort. We now turn our focus to the next match and will try to fix the things that didn't work today.”
U14
In Round 8 of the Elite League, Richárd Takács' side also traveled to Kisvárda, returning home with all three points. Although the hosts scored an early opener, our academy boys turned the game around thanks to a brace from Bálint Baji and a goal from Csongor Várdai, claiming a 3–1 victory over Várda Labdarúgó Akadémia. Our team now sits in third place in the table with 14 points.

Our goalscorers: Baji (62', 64'), Várdai (66')
Richárd Takács, head coach:
“We didn't start the match well and struggled to adapt to the conditions, which our opponents exploited to put us behind within the opening minutes. We took control of the game already in the first half, but our attacks lacked efficiency, while Várda created several dangerous opportunities in front of our goal. In the second half, we improved across the board, gradually wore down the opposition, and the goals followed, making it a well-deserved victory overall. The players deserve credit for showing their character during such an intense schedule.”
