The Hungary U17 national team, currently preparing for November's European Championship qualifiers, took part in a five-day training camp where they faced Malta in two friendly matches. Following the international tournament in Croatia, our goalkeeper Dávid Czinki received another call-up, while our versatile player Botond Horváth-Garaba was unable to join the national squad this time due to injury.
Our boys secured a two-goal victory against Malta on Tuesday, allowing them to look forward with confidence to the second encounter, where our goalkeeper Dávid Czinki was handed a starting spot. The team led by head coach Dávid Horváth built a two-goal lead in the first half, and in the closing stages Dávid Orji also found the net to seal the 3–0 final score. The U17 national team thus closed their preparations with a convincing win.
