Quote of the week
Martin Masaryk, head coach of the women's team, after the win over Astra HFC: “All credit goes to the girls. We earned our first victory and believe it will be followed by further successes. This success belongs to the whole of Honvéd, to everyone who helps and supports us; we can feel that women's football is important to the club. The girls performed well on the pitch. The period after the red card was more about fighting, but we had to handle that situation too; we have to learn what to do in moments like that. I am proud of the girls, I could see their happiness, and these are the moments everyone working in sport strives for.“
