Following Thursday's opening day, our Puskás-Suzuki Cup campaign also began in Felcsút. As five-time tournament winners, we faced newcomers Slavia Praha in the afternoon's second match. Márton Bogdánfi naturally named all three of his key players who have already debuted for the senior side – Zsombor Liziczay, Viktor Petrók and Erik Kovács – in the starting line-up. As expected, the crowd in the stands created a great atmosphere. The sides largely cancelled each other out in the first half, but late in the period our defence failed to clear a cross from the right and Drasnar, arriving at the far post, rolled the ball into the bottom-right corner. After the break we began to come alive: Erik Kovács and then Teó Balázs came close to equalising, while Álmos Horváth's header went only centimetres wide.
We continue the tournament against Genk on Saturday at 15:15.

Márton Bogdánfi, head coach:
“In the first twenty minutes we mainly had to cope with the circumstances. The boys rarely get to play in front of so many spectators and with such enthusiastic support. We gifted the first half to our opponents and Slavia took advantage of our defensive mistake. In the second half we arrived at the tournament, took far more risks and created chances. Two difficult matches still await us in the group, but despite not getting a good result in the opener, we will play to win against both Genk and Real Madrid.”
