Our U19 side, unbeaten and top of the table before the round, faced no easy task away to second-placed MTK Budapest. Nyers gave us an early lead and, although the hosts equalised, we went in front again early in the second half, if only briefly. MTK led only once in the match, for just seven minutes, but at the most important time. Their victory took them to the top of the table. Our team continue from second place and host Videoton FC Fehérvár at the Academy on Saturday, 15 November.
MTK Budapest U19–Budapest Honvéd U19 3–2 (1–1)

Márton Bogdánfi, head coach:
At academy level, we played a very good match. I don't feel we deserved to lose because we controlled the game for 83 minutes; even when we didn't have the ball, our will prevailed, which reflects the boys' tactical maturity and the organisation of the team. We should have put the game to bed in the first half. Unfortunately, we made the wrong decision several times in clear-cut situations and made mistakes at the back that had not been typical of us until now. Our opponents took advantage of those, so we were unable to get a point today.
Thanks to two early goals, the U17 side brought all three points home from Zalaegerszeg and remain top of their age group's league. On Saturday, however, they face a decisive match as second-placed MTK, only one point behind us, visit the Academy.

Viktor Petrók, head coach:
As last week, in the first half we played proactively, with good ideas, implementing our principles, controlling the game and playing both well and effectively. The penalty we conceded at the start of the second half affected our play for a short period and made us rushed and impatient. Credit to the team for managing to return to our game, even if not to the level of the first half, and sustain it until the end. The lesson is that matches of this type need to be finished earlier; in the final actions we need a more goal-minded approach, more effective decisions and more precise execution.
The U16 side continue to fly and this time thrashed Vasas on their own ground. István Körtvélyesi's players are second behind ETO – level on points, but behind on goal difference. Ferencváros visit the Academy on Saturday, while Győr face fourth-placed Várda.

G: Németh H. (23.), and Rotár (8.), Horváth-Garaba (44. – penalty), Solymos (75.), Jakab (77.).
István Körtvélyesi, head coach:
From the beginning of the match, our dominance and the difference in dynamism between the two teams were evident. We had several quality attacks and scoring chances. In the second half our play became more dynamic, we broke through the defensive lines well and kept our opponents under constant pressure; the only question was when we would score. I think we are making progress week by week in individual preparation and team play. Our mentality and organisation speak for themselves; they are exemplary! Congratulations to the team!
Our U15 side, who were a little slow out of the blocks at the start of the season, continue to collect points and this time defeated Illés Akadémia. Tamás Szamosi's team have lost only one of their last six matches, winning four of them, and have climbed to sixth place in the table. On Saturday, in their final league match of the autumn, they visit UTE and, if they can win, they will close the gap on the leading group further.
Budapest Honvéd FC U15–Illés Akadémia U15 2–1 (1–0)
Honvéd: Szabó A. – Török, Nyiri, Palásti (Vass, 67.), Pisont (Magyar, 63.), Józsa, Varga B., Szabó D., Szijjártó, Malomsoki, Gerebenes (Balázs P., 55.).
G: Malomsoki (26.), Nyiri (58.), while Husz (76.).
Tamás Szamosi, head coach:
In the first half, what happened on the pitch was what we wanted. The things we had worked on during the week appeared in different phases of the match. In the second half the visiting team put us under more pressure. That unsettled us a little and made our play more rushed. Overall, it was a deserved victory and we are happy to have kept all three points at home. Congratulations to my players because they remained focused until the final moment.
Our U14s, however, did not have a fortunate day, with MTK winning 2–0 at the Academy. Our team can make amends against ETO on Saturday.
Budapest Honvéd FC U14–MTK Budapest U14 0–2 (0–1)
Honvéd: Ehmann – Karácsony (Horváth B., 62.), Málint, Oláh-Sebők, Nnadi, Palaga, Kamber (Rácz, 51.), Kovács B. (Oke, 47.), Tóth G. (Keindl, 51.), Hanzély (Marte, 41.), Gerencsér.
G: Jimoh (3.), Magyar L. (60.)
Gergely Fűzfa, head coach:
Unfortunately, the early goal we conceded left its mark on the entire match. We were unable to reach the level we expected from ourselves in any aspect of the game. The second goal effectively ended the contest. We lost a lot of duels and played timidly, something we want to improve on next week. In the future we expect a much braver, more aggressive mentality than this!
