In consultation with the television rights holder and taking energy-saving measures into account, the Hungarian Football Federation’s Competition Committee has finalised the schedule for round five of the OTP Bank Liga. Our match against Ferencváros has been postponed to 2 December.
Round five will feature one match on Friday and two each on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend programme starts with Paks against Újpest and concludes on Sunday in Kisvárda and Győr, but the round will not be completed until December, when we play our match.
Under the regulations, a club that reaches the play-off round of a European competition may unilaterally request a postponement. FTC, who were set to face Trabzonspor for a place in the Europa League group stage, submitted such a request ahead of that match, and the Competition Committee approved it.
