Both teams began the match with chances. At our end, a Békéscsaba block saved the visitors from conceding, while at the other end Rácz covered the near post to save Vólent's shot in the 12th minute. Eight minutes later, after a fine move, Földi crossed from the left for Ihrig-Farkas in the middle, but Schrenck managed to push his shot behind for a corner with his left hand. We regularly appeared in front of the opposition goal for the rest of the half as well, and in stoppage time Hancz could have given us the lead, but his flicked header went over, so the sides turned around at 0–0. In the second half we tried several shots, but unfortunately errors crept into the finishing, while for the visitors from the south-east Harmati got through one-on-one with the goalkeeper but Rácz made the save. In the 85th minute Békéscsaba II won a free kick, which Ákos Oláh thundered into the top-left corner from around 30 metres (0–1). No major chance developed after the goal, so the visitors took all three points. Our second team travels to BKV Előre in a week's time.
