Hungary's U21 national team hosted Spain, the leaders of their European Championship qualifying group, in Kecskemét, with three MFA-developed players in the starting eleven: Benczenleitner Barna, Szabó Alex and Eördögh András.
Spain played with a clear advantage in the opening phase and the visitors took the lead in the 20th minute, continuing to dominate the match afterwards. Kerezsi Zalán also came on for the closing stages, and in the final twenty minutes we attacked more, but could not score.
Of our players, Benczenleitner and Szabó played the full match, while Dúzs Gellért was on the bench.
