Our team will play its fifth league match of the season under a new head coach, Zsolt Laczkó, appointed on Monday, as we visit Soroksár SC. Last season we drew 1–1 away against the yellow-and-blacks and won 4–1 at home. Our team have collected four points from four matches so far, while Soroksár have suffered three defeats and drawn with Békéscsaba.
“The most important thing is that on Sunday I want to see on the pitch what we practised with the players during the week – began Zsolt Laczkó. – The players trained well, and we need to form a united team if we are to be successful. We know Soroksár will be a difficult opponent; they are a stable NB II side, but we play every match to win and we want to give our supporters something to celebrate. I have had a full week to work with the team, which is not a lot, but day by day we tried to do the best possible work. At the same time it is very important for me to get to know the players as well as possible, not only on the pitch but as people too. I placed great emphasis on this because, although I already knew them, it is important that we become closer. Naturally, that takes time, but the days have been productive. Working together is a longer process, which is also why I am looking forward to seeing how much of what we practised we can put into practice.“
