Head coach Richárd Takács:
“It was a mixed match. We started at high intensity and quickly took the lead, but as the game went on we played more and more slowly and our work without the ball also fell short of expectations. As a result, our opponents were able to come back into the match, and in the 60th minute we went into the drinks break leading 4–3. The children responded well after that, managed to move up several gears and, as a result, we secured a convincing victory against a team that played hard and fought persistently throughout.”

Gergely Fűzfa's assessment:
“We played in excellent conditions against the best international opponent we have faced so far. We started the match brilliantly and managed to take the lead as early as the second minute. Our opponents equalised with a fine free-kick. Even after that, we made good use of our chances and went into the break 3–1 up with some well-taken goals. We started the second half very poorly, which our high-quality opponents immediately punished. In the latter part of the half we got ourselves organised again, were back in the game and created chances, but nobody managed to score, so the score established at the beginning of the half remained the final result. Overall, it was absolutely worthwhile coming to Osijek, because we were able to practise in a competitive situation the elements we had worked on in training against an excellent opponent.”
