Head coach István Körtvélyesi:
“We played a high-tempo match against Rapid. The first half was balanced with several chances, but under the intense pressure we found it difficult to switch to a combination-based game. In the second half our opponents' individual quality gave them the upper hand, and it became difficult to compensate through organisation alone. The match was extremely useful because at home we rarely face this kind of pressure, so we saw what we need to improve in order to reach a higher level. We made mistakes in possession, but when trying to win the ball we defended well on the front foot and managed to regain possession several times in the attacking and middle thirds.”

Head coach Márton Bogdánfi:
“We played a strong opponent whose style of play is similar to ours, so it was a very useful match. In our play on the ball we saw many elements that we had practised in training, particularly in playing out from the back and building attacks, which is a positive. We also managed to score goals and were focused in front of goal. Defensively we were compact and aggressive, won many duels, and the opposition were unable to create any major chances.”
