As is known, our supporter vote concluded at the end of January, giving you the opportunity to decide under which name our senior teams should compete from the 2026–2027 season. More than 9,000 votes were cast and the result was unequivocal: Kispest–Honvéd FC received more than 90 per cent of the votes.
Our club's management therefore decided to make the change, which officially took effect on July 1, 2026. Going forward, our senior teams and, unlike previously, our academy teams will also compete in their respective leagues under the name Kispest–Honvéd FC.
Alongside preserving the club's traditions, the decision is intended to strengthen our roots in Kispest.
Come on Honvéd, only Kispest!
