U19
Our U19s hosted MTK Budapest at Bozsik Arena in Round 19 of the Elite League. Márton Bogdánfi's side lost 2–0 to the league leaders, leaving them with essentially only a mathematical chance of winning the championship. Just three rounds remain in the season, MTK's advantage has grown to five points, and our team will visit Videoton FC Fehérvár on Saturday.

Márton Bogdánfi, head coach:
“We played an open, end-to-end match and I think those who came out to watch could enjoy it. In the first half we tried to neutralise MTK's game and play our own football. We managed that in certain periods, but especially in the second half I felt we were able to get on top of them. Their goal was under pressure several times, but our finishing was not good enough and we lacked sharpness in the final actions, so we could not equalise. I think if we had managed to level, we would have turned the match around as well. We had to take risks and, although we put even more pressure on them, we conceded another goal from a counter-attack, which decided the game late on. The boys gave everything; may we never have a worse youth match than this. Of course this will hurt for a while, but this is a young team full of excellent talents. We keep working, and congratulations to MTK.”
U17
Our U17 team led by Viktor Petrók played out a goalless home draw against ZTE FC. After the match our head coach highlighted that, despite a difficult start, the team gradually took control and, although they created opportunities, they were not ruthless enough in front of goal. Our side are third in the table with 35 points and will visit leaders MTK Budapest in the next round.
Elite League, Round 19
Budapest Honvéd FC–ZTE FC 0–0 (0–0)

Viktor Petrók, head coach:
“We did not start the match well, but over time we took control and controlled the game. Unfortunately, in the attacking third we looked flat and somewhat short of ideas; there were too few changes of tempo to break through, and we lacked the patience to prepare our chances properly. Even so, we had opportunities and chances, but in the finishing we were not aggressive or goal-minded enough.”
U16
Our U16s defeated Vasas Kubala Akadémia 3–0 thanks to goals from Kornél Solymos, Martin Vérten and Bence Domány. With two rounds remaining, István Körtvélyesi's team lead the table with 46 points, although second-placed MTK Budapest have played one game fewer. On Saturday we face Ferencvárosi TC at the Népligeti Sports Centre.

István Körtvélyesi, head coach:
“We played a difficult match against Vasas. In the first half we had to play against a deep, set defence, but even so we managed to break them down several times. We were very close to scoring. In the second half we made a slight structural change and stretched the opposition defence. Larger spaces opened up for us and we won the match in around 15 minutes. Several players appeared in roles different from what they are used to, but I think they played with exceptional discipline. So special congratulations for the performance they produced in the match!”
U14
Our U14s earned a 3–1 home victory over Illés Akadémia. Our academy players took the lead as early as the 17th minute through Bence Palaga, and although the visitors equalised shortly afterwards, Olamide Olivér Oke scored in the second half before Bence Horváth made it 3–1.

Djordje Kamber, head coach:
“After last week's weaker performance, the boys took to the pitch with more concentration, much greater confidence and motivation. In the first half we played patiently and waited for our opportunities. We pressed well and in an organised manner, and that is how we scored the opening goal. In the second half we played even better and more aggressively and did not allow the opponent much space. We continue to train hard and diligently to improve and develop the technical and tactical elements of our game.”
