Bp. Honvéd travel to Csákvár in Matchday 7 of the Merkantil Bank Liga. We have played the blue-and-yellows twice so far in NB II, with both matches taking place in 2023.
30.07.2023: AQUITAL FC CSÁKVÁR–BUDAPEST HONVÉD FC 1–2 (0–1)
The league campaign got off to an excellent start. Benczenleitner found the home net as early as the fourth minute. The early goal set the right tone for the 800 travelling supporters. The team went into the break with a one-goal lead, but that advantage disappeared early in the second half, as Nagy Zoárd equalised after barely two minutes of play. It already looked as though the teams would share the points when, in the 86th minute, Kerezsi converted Átrok's cross into the Csákvár net.
10.12.2023: BUDAPEST HONVÉD FC–AQVITAL FC CSÁKVÁR 2–2 (0–1)
The “return match” took place at Bozsik Arena on 10 December. Once again only one goal was scored in the first half, but this time it was the visitors who got it through Babós in the 13th minute. The second half did not begin well for us either, as Csákvár doubled their lead in the 56th minute. Just under a quarter of an hour later, Karacs's own goal brought Kispest back into the match. Just as in the first meeting, the sting came at the end. In the 88th minute Bobál Gergely converted Kovács Nikolasz's cross into the Csákvár goal.
