The veterans' league continued with round seven. This time Honvéd BKE played away to ISSIMO. Only Rajz and Bárányos were missing from the starting line-up, with the latter starting on the bench because he had played a friendly in Transylvania during the week.
Our side dictated the tempo from the start, yet it was not until the twentieth minute that we first managed to breach the home goal. Youla's shot was parried by the goalkeeper and Zana turned the rebound into the net from 5 metres (0-1). Six minutes later Youla was involved again, beating two defenders before firing into the net (0-2). In the 29th minute Lázár headed Sinkó's cross from the right into the goal (0-3). Five minutes later Youla extended Kispest's lead to four (0-4).
Kispest made three changes at half-time. Tóth Csaba, Bárányos and Andric came on for Máj, Gálvölgyi and Sinkó. In the 69th minute Youla also rounded the goalkeeper before scoring the red-and-blacks' fifth goal (0-5). In the 74th minute Kamber surged down the right and then fired into the far corner from 15 metres (0-6).
Honvéd BKE played entertaining football and won comfortably, with ISSIMO barely creating a chance. In addition to Kispest's six goals, there were countless other opportunities in front of the home goal, while the post came to the hosts' rescue after Erdei's free kick.
Regardless of the rivals' results, Honvéd BKE lead the table with a perfect record. Our side will next play Pénzügyőr at the MFA Utánpótlás Központ on October 21 at 19:30.
