Alongside the senior team, our academy players also had a busy schedule. As we reported, our U19 side beat Szeged-Csanád Grosics Akadémia 4–1 and advanced in the Hungarian Cup. Our U17 and U16 teams both faced III. Kerület, and both progressed to the next round with confident performances and without conceding a goal.

Viktor Petrók, head coach:
In the first half we played with a good approach, although with several technical errors, and controlled the match. We had opportunities throughout to settle the question of qualification, but we were inaccurate in the breakthrough and finishing phases. In the final half-hour our play became unnecessarily rushed, we hurried the final actions and as a result lost the ball too often and lost control. We managed the planned playing minutes well and, overall, played a useful match.
III. Kerület U16–Budapest Honvéd FC U16 0–2
Honvéd: Székely – Marinyák, Érsek, Kralicsek, Solymos, Kardos, Hegyes, Jakab (Meggyes, 61.), Barton, Rotár, Völgyi (Remenár, 61.).
G: Rotár (47.), Kardos (58.).
István Körtvélyesi, head coach:
We started our Hungarian Cup campaign, so we are also trying to gain experience of playing in a cup competition. I think this is a very good opportunity for the players. In the first half we had to play against a compact defence, which was not easy. We dominated heavily, but finished our chances inaccurately or the goalkeeper produced an excellent save. In the second half our opponents also wanted to win and pushed their defensive line higher, which opened up the spaces completely and chances came one after another for us. We scored two nice team goals, which made me very happy. We played calmly and disciplined throughout. Congratulations to the team!
In the academy age groups, Round 4 of the Hungarian Cup will be played on 6 December. The Hungarian Football Federation will provide information on the draw later.
