Supporter information:
- The match kicks off at 17:00 on Saturday, July 11, at the Balassi Bálint Street Stadium in Monor.
- The host club has allocated a total of 400 tickets to our supporters. Tickets can only be purchased at the Honvéd Shop or the Kispest Football House.
- There will be no ticket sales at the stadium on matchday.
- Our supporters will enter from Balassi Bálint Street, with gates opening at 15:00. A refreshment stand will operate during the match, with both cash and card payments accepted.
- We will broadcast the match live on our YouTube channel.
Monori Sportegyesület have reached a fine milestone, celebrating the club's 125th anniversary, and to mark the occasion they will play a friendly against our team on Saturday from 17:00.
Monor were relegated from NB II in the 2018–19 season and have played in the third tier ever since. Halgas István's side won the South-East Group, but lost the promotion play-off against Gyirmót and therefore could not move up at the end of the season.
Monor's squad includes several former Honvéd academy players: Szlovák Áron, Retter Szilárd, Tóth Bertold, Bezzeg Olivér and Kalocsány Péter.
We last faced Monor in the Hungarian Cup in 2019, when Moutari, Lanzafame and Vadócz scored in a 3–1 win that knocked out the blue-and-whites.
Our second team have regularly faced Monor in recent years. In May we were the only one of the fifteen teams to take all three points away from the champions' ground, with Tasi Gergő's goal securing a 1–0 win. Our reserves have caused Monor problems more than once: they have failed to beat us in any of the last five league meetings, while Monor are one of Hetyei Szilveszter's favourite opponents, as he has scored four times in five games against them.
