Our last visit to Békéscsaba came back in August 2015, when we left Kórház utca with a 4-1 victory. There was also a goalscorer from our current coaching staff in that match, with Djordje Kamber contributing two goals to the three-goal win.

The shared history of the two teams also includes a cup final. Unfortunately, on that occasion it was the side from the Viharsarok region who celebrated, winning 3-2 in 1988. The winning goal was scored by Sándor Csató, who is currently Békéscsaba's head coach.
In league competition the two sides have so far met only in the top flight. Across 55 matches there have been 29 Kispest wins, 12 Békéscsaba victories and 14 draws.
