The Hungarian and Israeli youth national teams first met on Monday, October 7, when the visitors won a balanced contest 1-0 with a goal from a corner.
The teams played their second match on Thursday, October 10, and Israel won again 2-1. Our player Ádám Nyers scored Hungary's consolation goal.
Four of our academy players were called up to the age-group national team: Viktor Rankó, Péter Milicz, Viktor Petrok and Ádám Nyers, and all four of our players featured in the warm-up match.
Our U17 national team next plays Azerbaijan on November 13, this time in European Championship qualifying.
