Árpád Séllei has played an important role in the club’s life in recent years. He made an active contribution to launching several developments at our academy. As a civil engineer, he was particularly valuable to the club during the planning stages of these projects. He also played a major part in reviving the Puskás Foundation and establishing and strengthening partnerships.
His work was characterised by consistency, perseverance and dedication to the club. His efforts played an important part in our recent achievements and in creating opportunities for the club’s future.
However, our ideas about the future and the direction of the club’s continued operations have diverged recently. Both parties handled the situation professionally and, after discussions, agreed that Árpád Séllei and the club would part ways by mutual consent.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Árpád for everything he has done for Kispest–Honvéd: for his work, the energy he has invested, the responsibility he has taken in difficult situations and the dedication with which he has served the club. His contribution during his time here will remain part of Kispest–Honvéd’s history, and we look back with respect and pleasure on everything we achieved together.
