U19
Márton Bogdánfi's side enjoyed a highly successful weekend, beating DVSC 4–0 in Round 13. Erik Kovács spent only 66 minutes on the pitch, but that was more than enough for him to help the team with four goals. Our age-group side are second in the table, two points behind leaders MTK.

Goals: Erik Kovács (6.), (31.), (64.), (65.)
Márton Bogdánfi, head coach:
“We managed to impose our will on the opponent already in the first half, which was also reflected in the chances we created. We scored two good goals from open play, and perhaps that made us a little too comfortable at half-time. We came out with the wrong mindset for the second half: there was a 15-minute spell when we weren't aggressive enough and our concentration wasn't where it needed to be. Thanks in part to the substitutions, however, we managed to shift out of that situation and from then until the end our will prevailed again. Apart from that quarter of an hour we can be satisfied, but we have to strive to give our opponents not even that much of an opportunity. I don't usually single out individuals because this group is very united and functions like a real family both on and off the pitch, but anyone who scores four goals against the third-placed team in an elite league deserves praise. Congratulations to Erik Kovács and the entire team!”
U17
In the U17 competition our team drew 0–0 at home against DVSC. Head coach Viktor Petrók stressed after the match that his side lacked sufficient concentration with the final passes and finishes, which was why no goal was scored. Our age-group side are third on 26 points, Ferencváros are second on 28 and MTK lead the league with 29. Viktor Petrók's team travel to Vasas on Saturday in Round 6 of the Hungarian Cup.

Honvéd: Székely, Schwarcz, Varga-Sós, Szanka, Szőke (Domján 61.), För (Érsek 61.), Martin (Kralicsek 77.), Molnár, Kovács (Solymos 85.), Bokor, Balaskó (Varga 61.)
Viktor Petrók, head coach:
“We controlled the match throughout, although in certain periods perhaps we could have put even more pressure on the opponent. At last we were able to keep possession in the attacking third as well. In the first half we still lacked the changes of tempo, quick decisions and correct positioning needed to break through, but in the second half we managed to break down the opponent's compact defence several times. Unfortunately we were not focused enough with the final passes, finishes and situations, which is why the goal did not come. I feel sorry for the team because the energy invested and the football we played were not rewarded today.”

“We did not start the match well: in the opening minutes we could not find our rhythm and conceded after a corner. Later, however, we managed to play at our own tempo and created several chances. In the second half we played more aggressively and confidently, won many duels and put together some good attacks. Our hard work was rewarded with a goal in the final minute. Congratulations to the boys for their excellent attitude and fight!”
