We claimed a 1–0 victory in our first home match of the season, defeating Tatabánya through a goal by Zoltán Medgyes. Head coach Aurél Csertői gave the following assessment after the match.
“The team produced a better performance in the first half, better with fewer mistakes, although we also needed a great save from our goalkeeper when we passed the ball straight to the opposition. Of course, such things can happen in football, but Tatabánya did not create that chance through a constructed attack. In the first half we had more possession and there were several situations where we reached the opponent’s byline, but there we did not make the right decisions. Overall, though, the half was fine and we controlled the game. We also started the second half well. After the goal we sat back a little on the 1–0 lead, and Tatabánya then had chances as well, while our goalkeeper’s good performance was also needed to preserve the advantage. Overall, we deserved this victory."
