Round 9 has arrived in the NB III, and our second team faces an away but still Budapest league match on Sunday from 16:00, at 12th-placed BKV Előre.
The Józsefváros side finished last season in 14th place but remained in the third tier after Karancslapujtő withdrew. In the summer former assistant coach Gábor Híres replaced Béla Balogh on the bench. Under him the team has collected three wins so far, taking all three points at Dabas and Martfű and beating Dunaharaszti at home, although in the previous round they suffered a heavy 6–0 defeat in Gyula.
What you need to know about BKV Előre:

Club colours: yellow-blue
League position: 12th

We have not had a good run against the yellow-and-blues in the NB III. In 2023–24 our record was two defeats, while in 2024–25 we drew both matches, so we aim to break that sequence on Sunday.
