After a year away from our traditional supporters' forum (although we also met fans at the Announcements Day event in November), our club held it again, with another strong turnout outside the Honvéd Shop. Representatives of the management and coaching staff answered questions directly, addressing a wide range of current topics. Those present included managing director Árpád Séllei, sporting director Sándor Fórizs, head coach Maurizio Jacobacci, head of communications Dávid Kungli and team captain Ádám Szamosi.
The forum began with an assessment from Sándor Fórizs, followed by an introduction from new head coach Maurizio Jacobacci, who was able to speak in his native language thanks to László Benke's interpreting. After the opening remarks, supporters took centre stage and were free to put their questions to the panel.
Looking back at previous forums, this was one of the longest: the conversation lasted nearly two hours, reflecting both the variety of subjects raised and the keen interest of those attending.
Topics included the departures of Ádám Nyers and Ferenc Ujváry, the dismissal of Tamás Feczkó and the appointment of Maurizio Jacobacci. We also discussed Ádám Szamosi's elevation to team captain, transfer plans and prospective signings, the club's finances, the reasons behind changes to ticket prices, our new mobile app (Kispest Honvéd FC, currently available only on the App Store), and current footballing questions such as tactical decisions in the match against Kisvárda.
We believe the forum was a useful and substantial discussion, giving supporters the chance to hear first-hand answers to the most important questions affecting the club.
