Seven players from our club were called up for the late-September camp: Barnabás Balogh, Áron Russnák, Tamás Somogyi, Zalán Varga, Martin Bogdán, Kende Ferencz and Zsombor Liziczay. In addition, academy graduate Mátyás Jakab, now a Juventus goalkeeper since the start of the year, was also with the national team.
Alongside Jakab, Áron Russnák, Tamás Somogyi, Barnabás Balogh and Martin Bogdán were all in the starting line-up for Tuesday's match. Somogyi came very close to scoring, as our 16-year-old had a penalty and also hit the post, but unfortunately he could not find the net this time.
Hungary won 3–2, and Gergő Jeremiás's side can test themselves against Uzbekistan again on Thursday.
