Following last Friday's U17 match, one of our academy teams was again able to play at the Bozsik Arena, this time the U15s. The surroundings were not unfamiliar to them, as they had already played there in March during the 9th Honvéd Cup. This time, however, Tamás Szamosi's players faced not Atalanta but Várda Labdarúgó Akadémia, who are fighting relegation in the league.
In the 8th minute Malomsoki played the ball wide to Józsa, who delivered an excellent cross to the perfectly timed run of Magyar Alexandernek Our forward gave the goalkeeper no chance, placing the ball into the bottom-right corner (1–0). Near the end of the 30th minute Menyhárt tried his luck but sent the ball well wide. In the 35th minute we put together an excellent move: Szijjártó started the attack, Vass passed on to Nyiri, who doubled our lead after a solo run (2–0).
After the break the coaches made several changes, and in the 65th minute the main questions were finally settled. Józsa again raced down the left and, after his cross, Malomsoki headed into the net (3–0). In stoppage time the rout was complete when, following Józsa's set piece, Palásti made it the final score (4–0).
