The 51-year-old specialist arrived from Diósgyőr, where he was section director of the academy; before that he worked as assistant coach with the first team.
“The Magyar Futball Akadémia is one of the best academies in the country. There are a great many talented footballers here who are looked after by excellent colleagues both as people and professionals. Together with the staff, I want us to be able to deliver everything expected by the ownership group and management. I believe football changes quickly and dynamically and we have to adapt to that as well. If we bring together all the potential in our professionals and have a shared vision and a shared plan for how we want to achieve it, then we want to develop quality footballers and excellent people not only for Honvéd's first team, but also for the international level.”
