Tamás Szamosi's assessment: „At the weekend we hosted NK Maribor. The match served our preparation excellently because we were able to play against a quality team. Our players proved that they are capable of producing a good performance against opposition of this level as well. We created numerous chances during the match, but we still repeatedly made poor decisions in the finishing phase, which is why we were unable to leave the pitch as winners. Overall, these international matches are where we can learn the most, and we would need many more like them in the future.”

István Körtvélyesi's assessment: „We played a fast, pulsating match against Maribor, who had already proved to be very good opposition during our summer preparations. It was a good test towards the end of our preparation period.
We tried to build our play continuously and kept looking to attack the space behind the opposition defence. We managed that to a large extent, found the free spaces well and played with a good approach throughout. Our defending was sufficiently aggressive and organised. The goals we conceded came from our own mistakes. Our goals came from very nice attacks and well-timed runs. We were satisfied with the performance because we were at a very good level both mentally and in our play. Many of the things we had practised were reflected on the pitch.”
Budapest Honvéd FC U16 - FC Zbrojovka Brno/CZE 0-0 (0-0)
Viktor Petrók's assessment: „We played against a physically strong opponent and showed some nice things at times, but we were still left with a sense that something was missing. We have been working for five weeks, and the fatigue was noticeable in the boys, mainly mentally. We have to learn to handle this state as well, and the match served that purpose well too.”

Márton Bogdánfi's assessment: „It was a useful match because the opponent's style suited the way we want to play. They pressed high and also tried to play football. There were many positives both in possession and out of possession. We saw things we had practised in training, which is good feedback. Unfortunately, we were not efficient enough in front of goal when it came to converting our chances.”
