Honvéd BKE put the visitors' defence under pressure from the very start of the match. Our side created chance after chance and it was only a matter of time before the ball found the BAK FC net. The visitors' defence held out until the 13th minute, when Youla beat Hajdú, and four minutes later he scored his second. Trembulyák continued the scoring in the 23rd minute, and two minutes later Rajz also got his name on the scoresheet. Youla stole the show again late in the first half, scoring twice in two minutes.
Honvéd made a double substitution at the break, with Krisztián Kovács and Attila Plókai replacing Norbert Zana and Balázs Sinkó. Early in the second half Youla scored his fifth of the evening and his team's eighth. Rajz found the net in the 62nd minute, followed four minutes later by Kamber. The crowd then witnessed another Youla show in the closing stages, as the Kispest forward scored three goals in six minutes against the blue-and-blacks. The visitors' consolation goal was scored by Mészáros in the final minute.
Honvéd BKE recorded a crushing victory and, judging by the chances created, could even have scored 20 goals. The hero of the match was Youla with eight goals, taking his tally to 36 and putting him top of the scoring chart.
Our team will next take the field on 8 April at 20:00 against B&K Mélykút at the Angyalföld Sports Centre.
