Our U14s ended the year against PAFC with a somewhat depleted line-up. The Felcsút side lead the league at the halfway stage, while our team has had an inconsistent season and currently sits seventh in the table.

Gergely Fűzfa, head coach:
We hosted the unbeaten team that ranked first in terms of points dropped. Despite the many absentees, in the first half we were able to produce disciplined and brave football. With a little luck or one or two better decisions we could even have taken the lead. In the second half, as our opponents were able to refresh their game with quality substitutions, they became increasingly dominant. In this phase of the match, despite our intentions, we were less able to keep possession and therefore create chances. Our opponents took the lead ten minutes before the end. After that we threw everything forward in an attempt to get a result, but following a high-quality counter-attack they settled the match. Overall, hats off to the boys; they deserve all our respect! They left their hearts and souls on the pitch! On behalf of the boys and the staff, we would like to wish everyone happy holidays and good health! Come on Kispest!
Our U16 team hosted Fradi in a postponed match from round 10. The green-and-whites had won all three of their previous league games, but in Kispest they had to settle for one point, a result that means István Körtvélyesi’s side leads the championship at the halfway stage.
Budapest Honvéd FC U16–FTC U16 2–2 (2–1)

István Körtvélyesi, head coach:
“We played a match with the atmosphere of a derby, and I think two evenly matched teams came up against each other. There were perhaps too many hard challenges and the football itself took a back seat. Even so, we gained a significant advantage very early, but by the end of the match we had thrown it away. This is an area where we need to improve: when an unexpected advantage presents itself, we cannot allow victory to slip from our grasp. I still congratulate the team, because they can go into the break in first place in the championship. It is a lovely gift under the tree for everyone!”
Two of our academy teams still have matches in 2026: our U17s host ETO UNI FC on December 12 with a 13:00 kick-off, while our U19s face an extremely important match following league leaders MTK Budapest’s defeat. Also on December 12, we host Szeged at the Academy from 17:00. Márton Bogdánfi’s players can close the gap to two points at the halfway stage.
