League action in the older academy age groups was paused this time, but all three of our cup teams (and, including the seniors, all four) successfully cleared their respective hurdles. Our U15s and U14s, however, had league fixtures – the latter age group had two. Tamás Szamosi's side travelled to Székesfehérvár and ultimately took all three points in a high-scoring match. Looking at their last five games, they have lost only once – against leaders MTK Budapest – while leaving the pitch as winners three times.

Tamás Szamosi, head coach:
This was one of those matches where we didn't really play well, yet we still managed to bring all three points home from Fehérvár. We are very happy about that now! I was a little disappointed when, at 2–0, we allowed Videoton to equalise, which opened the match up. Even so, we showed character in the final ten minutes, took the lead through a well-struck long-range shot from Szabó and secured the three points!
Our U14s played twice during the week because of a postponed match from the opening round, but Fortuna was not on their side this time.

Gergely Fűzfa, head coach:
Hats off to the boys because, judging by the chances, we deserved at least a draw. We played brave, conscious and good football for almost the entire match. The only thing missing was the goal, which we hope to make up for in the next game. That's football: this time our opponents were able to take their chance. Overall, I am certain everyone developed through today's match!

Gergely Fűzfa, head coach:
Wednesday's match against MTK was evident in our decision-making and technical execution. After our early goal, during the first part of the first half we still performed at an acceptable level by our own standards, but unfortunately, as time passed, our opponents took control of the match. In the second half we were more active in our play without the ball; our opponents had more possession, but neither side could create a major chance. Overall, we could praise the boys for the goal we scored and their outstanding attitude in play without the ball. In the other areas we still have plenty of room for improvement, and we want to perform better in the upcoming matches.
