Our 19-year-old player joined the club in 2020 and progressed through the age groups at our academy. He already appeared in NB III in the 2024–2025 season and has since been a regular member of our second-team squad, while also helping our U19 side last season. In January, during the training camp in Turkey, Papp Lőrinc was given an opportunity with our first team and made an immediately memorable debut, saving a penalty in the friendly against Kazakhstan's Shakhter Karagandy.
Our young goalkeeper recently signed a contract extension with the club until 2029, but in order to support his development, gain experience and secure regular playing time, he will continue next season with Gyirmót FC Győr. The loan agreement runs for one year, while he remains a Kispest–Honvéd FC player.
The champions of the NB III North-West Group faced Monor SE in the promotion play-off for a place in NB II. The first leg ended in a 2–2 draw, before Gyirmót beat Halgas István's side 3–1 in the return leg to secure their place in the second division.
We thank our player for his work at the club so far and wish him every success next season!
