U14 Elite League, round 6:
Ferencvárosi TC - Budapest Honvéd FC 2-1 (2-1)
Goalscorers: Bécsy (33.), Palásthy (38.), Fürjes (11.)
Assessment by Tamás Szamosi: “We started the match well and took the lead right at the beginning after an excellent move. The team played in a disciplined manner, stopping the opposition's attacks already in midfield and trying to get into dangerous positions from the balls we won there. We had chances too, but as so often happens, FTC managed to equalise and then, before half-time, took the lead following a serious individual error. Both teams played dynamically in the second half, producing an exciting, high-tempo period all the way through. Unfortunately the score did not change, but the players still deserve praise for the performance they produced."
U15 Elite League, round 6:
Budapest Honvéd FC - Illés Akadémia 2-0 (1-0)
Goalscorers: Solymos (25.), Kincses (51.)
Assessment by István Körtvélyesi: “We played in a very organised and attentive manner throughout the match. We were characterised by a high level of concentration and agility. We competed more aggressively than usual in the duels and also combined successfully with each other in positive transitions. Our goals came from open play and spoke for themselves. We were able to control the match throughout, and were effective both defensively and offensively."
U16 Elite League, round 6:
Budapest Honvéd FC - Illés Akadémia 3-0 (3-0)
Goalscorers: Somogyi (14., 39.), För (24.)
Assessment by Viktor Petrók: “ At the start of the match there was some confusion in our play without the ball, but then we scored precisely after winning possession. Our play on the ball followed our principles for most of the match. Perhaps when we had the numerical advantage – which, incidentally, seemed to affect us more negatively – we could have played even more dominantly, but we made several poor decisions and technical errors. Overall, we earned a deserved and instructive victory."
U17 Elite League, round 5:
ETO FC GYŐR - Budapest Honvéd FC 0-4 (0-3)
Goalscorers: Gyerbróczki (8.), Nyers (13.), Kecskés (49.), Kovács (91.)
Assessment by Márton Bogdánfi: “We played confidently, with attractive football and deservedly won. It would be good to carry this level of performance into the coming weeks as well. I wish the Győr team, who played in a likeable and cultured manner, every success going forward."
