Hungary’s men’s U19 national team, preparing for the European Championship qualifiers in November, faced Greece early on Thursday afternoon at UTE’s Szilágyi úti sports ground. Our player Ádám Somogyi came on in the 76th minute. Szabolcs Kemenes’s side ultimately won the match 1–0 thanks to a goal from Bendegúz Kovács.
The two teams will meet again on Sunday, and the venue will be doubly familiar territory for Ádám, as the match will be hosted by the Budapest Honvéd Academy.
