Hungarian Cup:
The two teams have been drawn together four times in the Hungarian Cup. In September 2003, qualification was decided over one match. The teams drew 1–1 in normal time on Soroksár’s ground, and as there were no goals in extra time either, the tie went to penalties. Kispest won the shoot-out 4–1.
In 2015, normal time ended 3–3. In extra time only Honvéd players scored: first Youla, then Botond Baráth in the 119th minute (5–3).
In 2019, the semi-final was decided over two legs. In the first match, because the Bozsik Aréna was under construction, we hosted our opponents at the Új Hidegkuti Stadion. We won 2–1 through goals from Filip Holender and Dávid Kálnoki-Kis. In the return leg in Soroksár, the red-and-blacks won 3–0 with goals from Ben-Hatira, Danilo and Patrik Tischler.
NB III
The two clubs have met twice in the third tier of the national championship. In the 2013/2014 season, Soroksár fielded their first team and Budapest Honvéd their second. In the first match, in October 2013 in Soroksár, the home side won 3–2. In April 2014 at the Bozsik Stadion, however, we won 3–2, with our goals scored by Prosser, Mello and Daru.
