Budapest Honvéd FC - Magyar Futball Akadémia and its partner institution, BMSZC Egressy Gábor Két Tanítási Nyelvű Technikum, held the highly successful ribbon ceremony for its graduating class on 14 February 2025. The event took place at the KMO Cultural Centre in Kispest, which accommodated around 250 spectators.
The graduating class: Bencsetler Máté, Giuliani Marcello, Horváth Botond, Molnár-Czétényi Marcell, Molnár Mátyás, Oros-Kovács Benedek, Palócz Balázs, Papp Lőrinc, Sebestyén Márk, Szamosi Ádám and Szelényi Márk, their form teacher Barna Zsuzsa and deputy form teacher Tóth Judit.
The programme was opened with a ceremonial speech by Séllei Árpád, managing director of Honvéd FC Kft. As an invited guest, we welcomed Szijjártó Péter , Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, representing the government, who praised our Academy in his remarks and expressed his ties to Honvéd.
As part of the programme, we watched video messages from our former academy player Gazdag Dániel and Davide Lanzafame , who achieved major successes in Honvéd colours.
Representing the Academy and the school, education and social director Gaál Richárd also addressed those present.
In addition to the traditional elements – pinning on the ribbons, the class video and class dance – we also saw several special performances. These included a piano performance by one of the ninth-grade academy students, a singing performance by class 11.H and the parents of the graduating students, and a rock'n'roll performance by Tornádó Egyesület. The programme was hosted by Liziczay Zsombor (10.H) and Orosz Zsófia (11.S). The evening concluded with a spectacular waltz.
