The first Hungarian Cup match of the season is next. What are your expectations and objectives ahead of Saturday's game?
Every match is very important to us, so of course we are preparing, and have prepared, extremely seriously for the cup tie as well. We want to go as far as possible in the cup; the competition is an excellent opportunity for us to improve while also achieving a good result.
Our opponents Kelen SC have four points after seven rounds in the NB III North-West group.
That does not matter. We have to take the match against Kelen seriously and must not underestimate our opponents for a moment. We must play with one hundred per cent concentration on Saturday as well; that is the only way we can be successful.
Four new players joined Honvéd in the closing stages of the transfer window (and afterwards). How have you managed to integrate them into the team and the group?
That has also been part of our task in the recent period, to integrate them. I can say of every player who arrived that they are good personalities and good team players. Thanks to that, their integration into both the group and our play is going smoothly. These are footballers who will be a great help to us.
How much of a boost can the win over Mezőkövesd give us going forward?
It was a difficult match in which we managed to earn the three points after a big battle. A win is always good and helps the team because it gives confidence and can have a positive effect on the training work in the period after the match, but that is all. We must no longer think about that; we can only focus on the next game, the aforementioned match against Kelen. And as I said, we cannot underestimate our opponents, while we also want to perform well in the cup.
