In the U19 competition, Márton Bogdánfi's team played out a goalless home draw against DVTK. Honvéd: Tarjáni, Balázs, Horváth, Csörgő, Komlósi (Schön – at half-time), Kovács (Rankó 86.), Miták (Meskó 72.), Tasi, Kecskés, Milicz (Hecler 86.), Szelényi (Gáspár 46.)
Márton Bogdánfi, head coach:
“Several things did not work in the first half and we performed below our ability in every aspect of the game. We managed to change a lot at half-time, and in the first part of the second half we played much more dominantly, pinning our opponents in their own half, but we could not score and only hit the woodwork twice. We went down to ten men in the 70th minute, so we tried to rely more on transitions, from which we created three big chances, but failed to score from those as well. We therefore had to settle for one point, which, looking at the match as a whole, can be considered fair.”
U17
Our U17 team suffered a 3–1 defeat against Várda Labdarúgó Akadémia. The visitors took the lead as early as the 7th minute and doubled their advantage soon afterwards. Zalán Varga pulled one back in the 17th minute, but our opponents celebrated again a minute later, meaning the contest was effectively decided in the first half. Viktor Petrók's side are third in the table with 38 points and will face tenth-placed ETO in the final round.

Viktor Petrók, head coach:
“We started with the wrong attitude and at a sluggish pace; the opponent punished our mistakes and we lost what little control we had. Our play improved as the match went on, but we could not convert our chances into a goal that might have restored the team's belief in a comeback. We have to learn from the match; overall, football gave us what we deserved.”

Tamás Szamosi, head coach:
“For most of the match, things happened the way we wanted. In the first half the home side dropped back into their own half, so we were able to build and control our attacks with virtually no pressure. We took the lead from a rehearsed free-kick routine. The pattern of the game did not change significantly in the second half either: we had a lot of possession and put together some attractive attacks, but we did not always make the right decisions in front of goal, so the match became a little tight towards the end. Even so, we fully deserved the victory.”
