Hungary concluded the U18 European Championship qualifiers on Tuesday against a Wales side that had been unbeaten before the match. Ferenc Ujváry started and played the full game, while Ádám Nyers came on in the 63rd minute. With Hungary leading 2–0, the two Kispest players combined for another goal as Nyers scored from Ujváry's assist to make it three. Two minutes later Máté Gerliczki's team found the Welsh net for a fourth time. The victory meant Hungary finished second in the group behind France and will continue in League A in the autumn.
