Our U19 team recorded its third consecutive victory and remains in a podium position in the league. With second-placed DVTK suffering a heavy defeat in Győr, László Takács’s side is now only one point behind the team from Miskolc. On Friday, however, a six-pointer awaits away to fourth-placed Kisvárda, who have collected the same number of points over 17 rounds.

László Takács, head coach:
"We started the match well, managed to control the game and created chances, two of which we converted. By the end of the first half the game became more balanced, but after a corner we still managed to score our third goal. The visitors improved in the second half, while we missed a penalty, which unsettled the players a little. After that Illés had chances and scored from one of them. For the remainder of the match most of the play was in midfield, and at the end we managed to score our fourth goal."
Our team, which will take part in the Puskás-Suzuki Cup in May, also beat Illés Akadémia 4–1, just like the older age group. In addition to Barna Kecskés, Attila Kis and Botond Schön, Erik Kovács, who has already made his senior debut, also scored. Márton Bogdánfi’s team sits second in the table, four points behind Vasas Kubala Akadémia, although the Angyalföld side has played one game more and the teams will still face each other after the tournament in Felcsút.

The U16s have now won five matches in a row. In the remaining four rounds they will still face the teams currently sitting 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in the table. The

István Körtvélyesi, head coach:
"Both in attack and defence we made individual errors that are not characteristic of us. We rushed things and you could see uncertainty on some faces, caused by the scoreline and the pressure. The many unforced mistakes affected our efficiency. From the 15th minute onward, we were the side playing football and showing quality throughout the match. I’m pleased that we kept trying to play; as a learning experience this match was perfect. We need to take a step forward morally and mentally so that we can become effective again!"
Our U14s lost a six-pointer. Another important match awaits them next week, and with a win they could overtake their opponent in the table, as Illés Akadémia has collected only two points more than our side so far.
