Our U14s, who have played one match fewer in the league, took all three points from Diósgyőr in their second match, meaning that after their international successes, Gergely Fűzfa's players have now started winning in the league as well.
DVTK U14 – Budapest Honvéd FC U14 0–2 (0–1)
Honvéd: Ehmann (Mező 60.) – Málint, Oláh-Sebők, Horváth, Babalola, Marte, Oke (Nnadi 55.), Kamber (Keindl 60.), Kovács (Tóth G. 47.), Rácz (Gerencsér 47.), Hanzély (Palaga 55.).
G: Kamber M. (25.), Marte M. (56.)
Gergely Fűzfa, head coach:
Above all, we wanted to improve in the possession phase compared with the previous match. There are still things to refine in our game, but the boys tried to implement in the match what we had practised in training, and for the most part they succeeded. We are particularly pleased with the goals we scored and the chances we created! Congratulations to them, because they gave their heart and soul on the pitch!
A difficult match awaited our U15s as they visited ETO Akadémia. One goal decided the game in Győr, this time not in our favour. It was Győr's third 1–0 win in the league, and with that they are the only team with a perfect record and lead the table.
ETO Akadémia U15 – Budapest Honvéd FC U15 1–0 (0–0)
Honvéd: Petró, Nyiri, Palásti, Pisont (Magyar, 41.), Józsa, Kovács (Vass, 41.), Schill (Matyó, 62.), Menyhárt, Varga, Szijjártó, Gerebenes (Szabó, 50.).
G: Németh (60.)
Tamás Szamosi, head coach:
In the first half, the game was mostly played in midfield and the goals were rarely threatened. Both teams had one or two counter-attacks, but none resulted in a goal.
There were more opportunities in front of goal in the second half, and after one such situation the home side took the lead with a well-struck shot.
We pushed forward and kept creating chances, but unfortunately on this day we could not even score into an empty net from 2 metres.
After last week's defeat to Várda, our U16s made no mistake this time and are now keeping pace with the leading group. There is no longer a perfect team in the league, and István Körtvélyesi's side will face PAFC at the weekend. The team from Felcsút go into the continuation on the same number of points as us.
Illés Akadémia U16 – Budapest Honvéd FC U16 0–3 (0–2)
Honvéd: Czinki, Marinyák, Kralicsek, Horváth-Garaba, Kardos (Solymos, 60.), Hegyes, Barton (Érsek, 76.), Rotár (Meggyes, 76.), Völgyi (Remenár, 76.), Hajagos, Ortó.
G: Hajagos (4., 18.), Kardos (46.)
István Körtvélyesi, head coach:
The week's work paid off at the weekend as well. The quality work in training proved its worth. We played with great superiority and dynamism, remained focused throughout and gave our opponents very few chances. We were able to make progress both in organising our play and in the quality of our game. In front of goal we remained calm and decisive. Congratulations on the performance and the result!
Our U17s, who celebrated a league title one age group lower last season, can look forward to the next round as the only team in the division with a perfect record after also defeating PMFC at the weekend. Viktor Petrók's side face Vasas Kubala Akadémia on Saturday.
Budapest Honvéd FC U17 – PMFC U17 3–1 (3–1)
Honvéd: Balogh – Ferencz, Schwarcz, Varga-Sós, Szőke, Bokor (Balaskó, 46.), Érsek (Shodunke, 75.), Martin (Molnár Á., 50.), Bogdán (Domján, 46.), Varga Z., Kovács Á (Baki, 80.).
G: Érsek (5., 13., 43.), while Csonka (16.)
Viktor Petrók, head coach:
We started the match well, then after taking a two-goal lead we lost control and became uncertain midway through the half. The sending-off at the start of the second half determined our game. We played in an organised and enthusiastic manner, although we could have been more effective from our counter-attacks.
Márton Bogdánfi's team continue to roll on with a perfect record. After beating UTE and DVSC, they also defeated Ferencváros with a confident performance. Our U19s lead the league with a perfect record and have not yet conceded a goal. On Saturday – just like for the U17s – our league leaders will face Vasas Kubala Akadémia, winners of the U17 age group last season.
Budapest Honvéd FC U19 – Ferencvárosi TC U19 6–0 (3–0)
Honvéd: Papp – Horváth Á., Gáspár (Miták, 60.), Komlósi (Somogyi, 46.), Csörgő (Kobela, 60.), Meskó (Botos, 73.), Petrók, Ujváry, Kecskés (Nyers, 46.), Milicz, Russnák.
G: Kecskés (5.), Petrók (13., 56.), Ujváry (18., 86.), Russnák (47.)
Márton Bogdánfi, head coach:
It is always significant feedback when the opposing coach comes over after the match and sincerely acknowledges and praises the team's performance, but the boys worked for it. We played with motivation, passion, aggression and organisation throughout the match. I am seeing more and more automatisms and deliberate elements from the team, which help us speed up our play. There was a period when we became overly fired up and lacked composure, but I put that down to wanting it too much. I am pleased with another clean sheet.
