Our U19 and U16 teams both recorded convincing victories at the weekend.

U14 Elite League, round 5:
Budapest Honvéd FC - MTK Budapest 0-3 (0-2)
Goalscorers: Masszi (15.), Malomsoki (27.), Palást (50.)

Head coach Tamás Szamosi's assessment after the match: “Our opponents played dynamically throughout the match and, taking advantage of our individual mistakes, deservedly won the game.“

U15 Elite League, round 5:
Budapest Honvéd FC - Vasas Kubala Akadémia 0-2 (0-1)
Goalscorer: Boda (19., 42.)

Head coach István Körtvélyesi's assessment: “The game was balanced throughout, with both teams having better and worse periods. We reached the attacking third on more occasions, but unfortunately once there we played without ideas and without finishing our moves. There was too little movement off the ball, while in transition we could not keep possession; there were too many technical mistakes and our decisions were also poor. We made errors in decisive situations both in front of the opposition's goal and our own, effectively gifting Vasas the victory.”

U16 Elite League, round 5:
Várda Labdarúgó Akadémia – Budapest Honvéd FC 2-5 (1-1)
Goalscorers: Budaházi (5.), Szarvas (46.), För (8., 55., 59., 71.), Varga (76.)

Head coach Viktor Petrók's assessment after the match: “We came from behind twice and reacted well to those situations. The scoreline does not faithfully reflect the pattern of the match; there were periods when we could not play the way we wanted. In possession we need to be braver, more proactive and more patient so that we can control matches better.”

U19 Elite League, round 5:
Budapest Honvéd FC – UTE 2-0 (1-0)
Goalscorers: Gáspár (45.), Kecskés (73.)

Head coach László Takács's assessment: “We faced an opponent that wanted to play football, which meant we were able to play an intense match. For most of the first half we managed to control the game and had opportunities to take the lead, which we finally did in the last minute of the half. In the second half Újpest also had chances to equalise, and our goalkeeper made two excellent saves. At the end of an attack down the left we managed to score our second goal, which settled the match. Overall, we deservedly beat a good opponent.”
