Youth internationals: Pekár debuted, Petrók scored, Simon and company in the elite round

U21:

István Pekár made his debut for the Hungarian U21 national team in the friendly against Cyprus, and did so in a winning match.

U19:

The Hungarian U19 national team took part in a European Championship qualifying tournament in Andorra. Our team was represented by two players, Benedek Simon and Ádám Szamosi.

Simon spent 16 minutes on the pitch against Cyprus and 29 against Andorra, while Szamosi was not given an opportunity this time. Gergő Jeremiás's side won both matches, so they are already certain to continue in the elite round in the spring, from where the national team can qualify for the summer continental tournament.

The Hungarian U17 national team beat Azerbaijan 4-0 in a European Championship qualifier. Viktor Petrók came on as a substitute and scored against the Azeris, Viktor Rankó started, while Ádám Nyers also appeared from the bench. 

On Saturday we drew 0-0 with hosts Romania. Viktor Rankó was again in the starting line-up, while Péter Milicz and Viktor Petrók came on as substitutes. Our U17 national team can reach the elite round against Greece on Tuesday.
